Info Veranstaltung  zu den drei Modulen der TREE Fortbildungreihe

Das Interreg Projekt TREE wird präsentiert und die interkulturellen  Trainerinnen und Trainer, Herr M. Reissen, Frau A. Hartmann-Alampour und Herr S. Hartmann werden den Anwesenden das Konzept des Trainings erläutern.

Ca 20 Teilnehmer aus verschiedenen Berufen, u.a. Sozialarbeiter, Sprachlehrer, Dolmetscher, Psychologen haben sich bereits definitiv angemeldet.

 In order to protect the rights of indigenous peoples, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has proclaimed 2019 as the “International Year of Indigenous Languages” (https://en.iyil2019.org).

In the framework of this UNESCO and in UN ECOSOC accreditation of “Le Monde des Possibles”, we invite you to a debate on the links between multilingualism and the social inclusion of migrant. Participants in the various NPO projects and resource persons (academics..) will impulse multilingualism issues : learning the language of the hosting country and the future of the native language, multilingualism in public institutions, intercultural exchanges and the arts contribution into the inclusion process, language skills valued in the labour market.

You are cordially invited to join us as we present the first results of the INTERREG project TREE – Training for integrating Refugees in the Euregio.

The goal of TREE is to contribute to a Euregional standard in refugee integration by creating a training programme for those who work with refugees. The project contributes to the INTERREG aims of strengthening the collective identity of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. During the research we compared how integration works in four sub-regions of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine – Liège Province, the region of Aachen, parts of the Eifel region – Bitburg/Prüm and Vulkaneifel, and Dutch Limburg. We then interviewed practitioners in order to discover what programmes already existed in the regions and what, from the point of view of practitioners, was missing.

We will share the results of this research and the plan for a training programme that will begin in 2020. This training programme targets people who work with refugees in different contexts.

There will also be live music and an opportunity for networking with other integration stakeholders in the region.

Vluchtelingenwerk Maastricht en Bureau Europa organiseren samen een event tijdens het Urban Storytelling Festival ‘Once Upon A Town’, waarbij het thema ‘migratie’ centraal staat. Tijdens ‘Once Upon A Town’ wordt er ruimte gecreëerd voor nieuwe en oude verhalen: verhalen die niet of niet voldoende zijn gehoord.

We trekken de wijk in om te luisteren naar oude en nieuwe bewoners van Maastricht. Daar presenteren statushouders, nieuwe Maastrichtenaren, zichzelf vanuit hun eigen perspectief.
Niet als vluchteling maar met hun persoonlijke identiteit, opleiding, hobby‘s en ervaring. De dialoog wordt aangegaan tijdens vertellingen, workshops en screenings, waarin verhalen worden gedeeld en inzichten uitgewisseld.

Dit event zal plaatsvinden in het weekend van 19/20 oktober 2019, tijdens ‘Once Upon A Town’ in verschillende buurthuizen in Maastricht. Tijdstip en locaties volgen z.s.m.!
